Dr. Arch. Reuben Mutiso,

Chancellor, The Management University of Africa
PhD (Texas, Austin), M. Arch & B. Arch (UoN), FKIM, FAAK, FICM

 is a leading Architect in Africa. He is the first and still serving chancellor of the university and a former chairman of the KIM

Dr. Arch. Reuben Musyoka Mutiso is a distinguished proffessional who qualified as an Architect after completing his Masters of Architecture from the University of Nairobi and later a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Texas, Austin. He also holds an Honorary Diploma in Land Policy from Lincoln Institute Cambridge in Boston- USA and is also an Honorary Architect of Chile (CAGAG).

Our University has been adopting various change models to upgrade its standards every day and this is very commendable, particularly so because many of you come from diverse communities and because of this aspect, we are diversifying in multiple ways and becoming more inclusive. To this end, MUA management team intends to intensify the momentum in our initiatives to ensure all our students finish their degrees on time.

 We as a university also recognize and appreciate your Government’s Big Four Agenda initiative. This is more so given the essential role that education plays in all the four pillars including Manufacturing, Food Security, Universal Healthcare Coverage, and Housing. The need for education to support the Big Four Agenda initiative has led to extensive expansion of the education space in Kenya by increasing education opportunities for our youth not only in Universities but also in Technical, Vocational, Education and Training (TVET) institutions. ........
