JOASH CHIRCHIR

CHAIRPERSON

As students navigate the challenges of a demanding academic world, lack of creative outlets and the need for balanced lifestyles, my leadership style tends to effectively manage this. I am an undergraduate student pursuing Bachelor of Education, Arts at the Management University of Africa and currently serving as the Chairperson of the Students Union; My approach will be multifaceted to address this.

My essence is to contribute immensely to the well-being of comrades by playing a pivotal role in fostering a more supportive campus environment. By championing well-being initiatives, promoting creative exploration, building a strong community, and advocating for improved resources, MUASA can empower their peers to navigate challenges, embrace creative 

expression, and ultimately, enjoy a smoother and more fulfilling campus experience.

My commitment to service and excellence not only aids in personal growth but also 

underscores my dedication to collaborative work and continual enhancement. In general Josh’s leadership style blends creativity, participation and a firm commitment, to justice and fairness. 

This approach offers solutions, to challenges encountered by comrades enriching their university journey.

SECRETARY GENERAL
In the face of contemporary challenges and uncertainties, we, the believers in the power of hope and the fundamental principles of democracy, at this moment present our Hope Restoration
and Democracy Revitalization.
Grounded in the conviction that a just and thriving society is achievable through collective action, this seeks to outline a vision for restoring hope and the reinvigoration of democratic
values.
Inclusivity and Diversity: I champion the idea that every voice should be heard, irrespective of background, gender, race, or socioeconomic status. I also pledge to actively promote policies that ensure the representation and participation of all students in the democratic process. A promise to uphold and emphasize the importance of a robust legal framework that applies equally to all individuals, ensuring justice and fairness prevail. I will commit to strengthening institutions that safeguard the rule of law and protect the rights of everyone in MUA. We advocate for transparency in governance, recognizing it as a cornerstone of a healthy democracy—a call for enhanced accountability mechanisms to hold MUASA officials and institutions responsible for
their actions.

ANGEL WANASAMBA
VICE-CHAIRPERSON
I am Wanasamba Angel, a Kenyan citizen with roots from Trans-Nzoia county. I attended St.
Martins girls’ high school where I served as deputy school president and I later joined The
Management University of Africa, currently pursuing Bachelor of Education Arts (English and
Literature).
As the vice chairperson my focus is on;
• Proper utilization of the university resources hence promoting experimental learning.
• Review existing policies so that they are in line with the changing environment at the
university.
• Bring inspiration to every comrade to take part in school activities, hence achieving
creativity, one of the core values of the University.
• Strategic planning, fostering collaboration among members.
• Advocating for student needs and interests within the university community.

PETER NG’ANG’A

I am a visionary leader equipped with the necessary skills of leadership right from my first year in High school where I was elected as a prefect and served for all the 4 years. A chance has now come to show my capabilities as a leader in MUA as MUASA Treasurer. I am looking forward to working with my colleagues and the management for the better future of my fellow Comrades.

LUCY MATHENGE
SECREATY ACADEMICS
Hailing from Central Kenya, Nyeri County, I started and completed my basic education in Kahuho primary school and Narumoru mixed secondary school in 2019. I’m currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Management and Leadership|-Business management and administration option at The Management University of Africa. My primary objective is uniting the whole varsity community around a shared goal which is accomplishing quality academic excellence for all. I’m passionate about excellence in all that I do, I serve as an ambassador for the university as a center of excellence throughout my interactions with my fellow comrades and the public at large. Throughout my leadership journey, I have learnt that the joy of leadership is turning followers to being leaders of their own.
We as MUA must take the initiative to soar up high with the eagles academically.

RONNY MAWIRA
SECRETARY, SPORTS, CLUBS AND ENTERTAINMENT
As a 4th-year student at MUA pursuing a degree in project management, I have a solid foundation in leadership and organizational skills. Having served as a class representative in both my first and second years, I have developed a keen understanding of student needs and effective communication strategies.
My leadership in sports, clubs, and entertainment is dedicated to making these areas more enjoyable and enriching for all students. I aim to enhance the overall experience by introducing innovative ideas, fostering inclusivity, and ensuring that every event and activity is well-organized and engaging. With my skills and dedication, I am committed to creating a vibrant and dynamic campus life, leaving a positive and lasting impact in our community.

LUKAS NJIRU
SECRETARY, SPECIAL INTEREST
As an undergraduate fourth-year student majoring in project management in Management University of Africa, I am honored to serve as the Secretary Special Interest, where my primary focus is to create meaningful impacts within our community. My role is multifaceted, encompassing advocacy, communication, and leadership to ensure the diverse needs and aspirations of our student body are met.
At the heart of my mission lies a commitment to inclusivity and representation. I strive to foster an environment where every voice is not only heard but also valued and acted upon. Through regular communication channels and proactive engagement, I aim to bridge gaps between students and management, facilitating dialogue that leads to impactful change. Whether through organizing forums, workshops, or campaigns, I endeavor to empower individuals to voice their concerns and ideas constructively.
Furthermore, I recognize the pivotal role of effective project management in achieving our goals. By applying my academic insights and skills, I intend to streamline processes within our organization, ensuring that initiatives are executed efficiently and with measurable outcomes. This approach not only enhances our effectiveness but also reinforces our commitment to excellence and accountability.
In addition to internal initiatives, I am dedicated to enhancing our institution’s standing and reputation. By representing the interests of our student body effectively, I contribute to shaping a positive external perception of our school. Whether through collaborative projects with other departments or community outreach programs, I strive to showcase the collective talent and ambition of our student community.
