Management University of Africa (MUA) was the host of the just-concluded 2024 East Africa Hub Convening in Dar es Salaam Tanzania from October 3rd to 4th. The event was organised by The Education Collaborative, a network of like-minded higher education institutions in Africa.

Management University of Africa (MUA) was the host of the just-concluded 2024 East Africa Hub Convening in Dar es Salaam Tanzania from October 3rd to 4th. The event was organised by The Education Collaborative, a network of like-minded higher education institutions in Africa.
The high-profile event was attended by over 100 higher education stakeholders, 35 of whom are first-time attendees, 20 inspiring speakers, 27 higher education institutions, and 9 non-higher education institutions from 11 countries across Africa.
During the convening there were impactful discussions and innovative collaborations on co-creating strategies for building resilient education systems in Africa.
MUA sent a high-powered delegation led by the Vice Chancellor Management University of Africa Prof. Washington Okeyo and Deputy Vice Chancellor Academic Research & Extension Dr John Cheluget, staff and a few students.
