Diploma in Counselling Psychology

Rationale

The Diploma in Counseling Psychology programme aims at training professionals who are able to deal with the diverse issues in the society that may inhibit growth of individual and group members in the community. There is need to have trained personnel who are able to deal with a multicultural clientele and deal with myriad issues, some brought by the challenges of everyday living, while others arise from the  dynamics of cultural change and, technological advancement, globalization and others continue to make such social challenges to be more complex and intertwined. As a result, there is increasing need for the services of well trained counselors and counseling.
