The Students’ Affairs Department supports student welfare, discipline, counseling, sports, accommodation, health, career guidance, industrial attachment and holistic student development at the Management University of Africa.

Welcome to the Students’ Affairs Department at the Management University of Africa. This office exists to support your academic success, personal development, discipline, welfare and overall student life experience.
The core mandate of the Dean of Students’ Office is to oversee student welfare, promote holistic development, enhance the quality of student experience and support personal, social and academic growth.

Our Core Services and Functions
1. Academic Guidance
We provide guidance on academic policies, student support services and available learning resources to help students succeed in their studies and remain focused on their academic goals.
2. Counseling Services (Physical & Virtual)
The University offers free, confidential and professional counseling services both physically and virtually to support students facing academic, personal, emotional and social challenges.
Services include:
- Individual counseling
- Group counseling
- Mental health support
- Career counseling

3. Sports and Games
The University promotes physical fitness, talent development and wellness through both indoor and outdoor sports. Sports activities include: Football, Basketball, Volleyball, Rugby, Lawn Tennis, Table Tennis, Badminton, Chess, Darts.
The University holds a Sports Day every Semester bringing together students and staff from Kisaju and South C Campuses.
4. Clubs, Societies and Religious Associations
Students are encouraged to join clubs and societies to enhance leadership and social skills. These include: Innovation Club, Environmental Club, Peer Counselors Club, Modeling Club, Positive Vibe (Mental Health) Club, Communication Club.
Religious Associations:
Christian Union, Catholic Action, Muslim Association.
5. Accommodation Services
- University Hostels available at Kisaju Main Campus at affordable fee.
- External accommodation linkages provided for South C Campus through verified hostel owners.
6. Health Services
University clinics operate at both Kisaju and South C Campuses to provide accessible medical care to students.
7. Industrial Attachment
The department coordinates industrial attachment for undergraduate and diploma students to provide hands-on practical experience before graduation.
8. Community Service
Community service activities are coordinated to promote social responsibility, teamwork and civic engagement among students.
9. Student Discipline
Student discipline is guided by the University Code of Conduct as provided in the Student Handbook. Students are expected to uphold integrity, responsibility and mutual respect.
10. Career Guidance and Mentorship
Students receive career guidance through:
- Career counseling
- Mentorship programs
- Career training workshops
- Public talks and seminars
11. Alumni Engagement
The department coordinates alumni activities to foster networking, mentorship and institutional development.
Career Guidance & Counseling Hub (Sub-Section)
The Career Guidance & Counseling Hub provides both Physical and Virtual Services, including:
- Individual and group counseling
- Career counseling and placement support
- Workshops, seminars and webinars
- Peer support groups
- Mental wellness outdoor activities
- Resource library (presentations and books)
- External referral services
